Well, I can't confess to be any sort of expert on the Peaks, but do have fond memories of the type working on the Midland main line.
And that looks about right to me. I suspect I'll find it hard to resist once I've seen a decorated sample.

Hmm, 'Tis a thought, but for me it would be one of the last 12, all of which I saw on the farewell railtour. Hertfordshire railtours 'Baker's Dozen'. So probably one of the unofficial namers...In RTC colours ?

I remember it so well! Particularly the drive to London to pick up the train when the car drive shaft almost broke on the way there - but not quite!
Unfortunately we've not found the photos between us. It was an exceptional day out, though.

Steph - it wasn't the "Bakers Dozen". I've just found that on Six Bells Junction - it went from Euston and involved a 31! Ours was from St Pancras.

The model was on Facebook the other day and I think it might have been Brian Daniels who said that the nose seam would be incorporated into the productiin models.

Oh God!
That does look the part, it really does.
A really iconic machine for me, it's where I started and finished my British railways spotting career, I used to really love them.
Will keep an eye on this.
