Scalefour Society Jubilee weekend - Derby, 7 & 8 March 2026

SCALEFOUR SOCIETY
JUBILEE WEEKEND
Saturday 7 March 2026 (11am to 5pm) and Sunday 8 March 2026 (10am to 4pm)
at The Derby Conference Centre, London Road, Derby, DE24 8UX.
Free entrance for Scalefour Society members and only £5 for non-members.
Come along and see finescale modelling, learn new things with our demonstrators, have a go with expert advice or just watch the trains in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere.
Learning Skills (Computers as a tool for modellers, Control systems, Setting the scene, How do I do it?, Making tracks, The trains, Not the Usual Methods).
Repair Shop (Loco clinic, bring along your stalled projects to the general help desk).
Mutual Improvement (Learn new skills, hands-on modelling with work benches available to work on your own projects with assistance if required).
There will also be a test track, a small but perfectly formed selection of layouts and the Society Stores.

Unfortunately, due to family health issues, I am having to withdraw from the Jubilee event in Derby next weekend, but I do hope to have the chance to exhibit the layout at future Society shows. I wish everyone a happy and successful weekend.
As Captain Kernow has already posted, unfortunately Callow Lane can't be at the Jubilee event due to unavoidable family health issues but we are grateful to Nick Rodgers for stepping in with part of his layout under construction 'Horrabridge' which will be a great opportunity to see and learn about what goes into making an exhibition layout.
