How refreshing, to see axles with journals at the ends, rather than pinpoints - well done!

Yes, although those journals look to be rather short... something like 4" x 4" rather than (typical) 8" x 4" ..... or are roller bearing axle journals shorter than those for oil boxes.

Remember, this 4mm. Using Exactoscale wheels and bearings seemed the most sensible,effective way to do this.
I may be a picky so and so but in this case, if it looks right...
These loaded wagons make their exhibition debut on Mostyn at York, in a couple of weeks time. I think that is when, I can judge how effective the wheels as a load are.
