Well,,,,, after repeatedly saying I must finish this engine I (for some reason) took it out of it's box this morning and ran it up and down my bit of test track. So,,,, I think that I might just get on with it.

This is a big engine and must have seemed huge at the time. It looks big even against my A class 0_8_0 freight engine.

Still one of my favourite locos , probably because it was also my first scratchbuild and it's still trundling around 40 plus years later .

You put some photos of it on WT a while ago ,
It looks great Paul. If this is good enough when it's finished I would like to get Warren to paint it.

So i did John , i forgot that .
I reckon if you can paint and line an LNWR coach then your painting skills would be up to a simple black loco .
