A few more progress pictures showing weathering on the rear of the coalstage and some painted cover slips and slide for puddles. Hope the pillar retaining wall looks like weathered concrete.

While moving the coalstage I dropped it so damage it recieved was canopy became detached, damage to one of the smoke stacks, damage to corrugated sheeting, some internal girders became detached, broken wires for lighting and detached support for one of the coal tippers. So most of the day repairing the damage. I did get to black wash the ash pit and fit fish plates.

Good recovery. Such accidents can be more than frustrating.

some years back, I dropped my Mitchell King, whilst I was in mid build. The chassis and upper works were not fixed together so happily the damage to the plate work was rather slight, and my leg broke the fall of the chassis, which opened up a neat slot in the back of my calf en passant…

Looks like not a lot has been going on but that is further from the truth. Once the clay had set it was clean up time which entailed removing excess clay from the sleepers, chairs, side of rails and blending in between the inside of the rail to the outside of the rail. I have also done the cut out for the puddles as can be seen in the photos.
