The re-done roof has been worth the effort in response to the supportive discussion from other WTers. The ridge sets off the wriggly tin in a very nice fashion, overall looking neat and purposeful.

Cheers for all the coments guys, appreciated :)

Blimey, you were up and at it early this morning! Looks great Steve, well worth the second crack at it.
When you know what you've got to do (and you've got everything ready) its easy, shame that didn't apply to food shopping this morning :))

How thick is it in comparison with the window frames i sent? im just wondering if it could be pre laminated to the walls....

We're thinking along the same lines then :)

The window frames you sent through are 0.22mm thick, the same as the thinner of the two sets of brick sheets - the thicker sheets are 0.55mm thick.

I guess what I have is closer to 'brick card' rather than brick paper in the style of superquick sheets of old.

I'd planned to have a practise on one of the rejects you sent through to see if it comes out OK, definitely easier than cladding the shed after building it!

My main concern is whether the card is too thick to allow a good bend around the lower brickwork protrusions, I know a half cut line on the inside will ease things, going to be a challenge to get a neat chamfer on the top edge as well...

I looked at Slaters yesterday and just thought that after painting it would be just as easy to use brick paper and rather like the roof sheets im not sure the walls need embossing.

After a prolonged break from modelling its been good to get back on the workbench again. There are four projects on the go at the moment, but as far as this thread, the only one of interest is the station building / cafe which has now had a few coats of paints and is heading towards completion.

Reading back through the thread, I've just realised I haven't inserted that small piece of wire as recommended by Jerry for a door handle, guess thats next on the list then :)
