This thread started in the members area but I've moved it here commencing with the latest post.
Well now, the new workshop has been in use now for a few months and after a few wagons it's back to making buildings for the new layout. This will be a fairly minimalist affair inspired by Llanastr/Wallingford (well the platform area)/Camerton branch/Fairford branch....a varied lot but the final plan is undecided. I've already finished the small signal cabin which is from Eynsham and I've almost finished the station building which is based on Camerton. I made another William Clarke structure years ago for Chipping Compton and just had to have another! The name of the layout? I was going to call it "Totleigh in the Wold" which is straight out of PG Wodehouse's books bit will probably re-use the name "Foxbury" from an earlier layout.

. This layout will be somewhat shorter than CC. It has to be to sit in the new railway room. I'll post progress but for now I'm amusing myself on odds and ends such as this new coal lorry which started life as a Svezda Opel Blitz WWII truck. Now with a flat bed and all the windows filed out it is a fair shot at a British one.
