G1MRA membership

Sorry Dave, I misread your post.
And yes, it's a member who hosts the files, rather than the organisation.
I'll settle for 'a bit of a misnomer' :)
The bottom line is that G1MRA is bothered about choice, and doing things about it, of which this is one.
While 3D printing seemed a long-shot when a friend and I started the forum, the step-up in sheer Quality since then is nothing short of Astounding.

It wasn’t Simon who used that description, it was me and I’ll stand by it. Tim’s post stated “The Gauge 1 association does have some rather interesting STL files for 3d printing, which are available to non-members, and can be rescaled to suit another scale.
The Gauge 1 3D Circle has the website and files linked to. There are obviously members common to both groups but the G1MRA doesn’t host the files.

It doesn't really matter which part of the modelling Venn diagram they are in, and they were all together on one stand at a model engineering exhibition last autumn. To follow up David Halfpenny's point, it is worth noting that some G1 is to 10mm/ft and some is 1/32, so make sure that you rescale correctly!

Is there a collective noun associated with the purchase of "a couple of panniers"? Given that GW panniers are sometimes described as "matchboxes" then could we describe the owners of collections of 5700s as partaking of 'Phillumeny'?

And is Pencarrot a 'Phillumenist'?
