On a grey Thursday morning 1338 and new build 1140 await the morning shift outside Graig Wen Loco.
Dai the Paint has finally fitted 1140's 87D shed plate although for some reason he hasn't painted the outer rim white.
It is undertaking light running in duties before being sent for acceptance trials.
On Sunday 12th. August hopefully both locos will be working on Graig Wen Colliery at the Aberaeron show, Llwyncelin Memorial Hall, 2 miles south of Aberaeron, SA46 0HF. Open 10 - 4-30.
The staff at Crymlyn A Shop would like to thank everyone, too many to list, who have given assistance and encouragement in its construction especially the sub contract work undertaken by Minerva Engineering.
Our foreman nearly had a nervous breakdown and had to take a long holiday but fortunately the Boyos rallied round and completed the contract, albeit somewhat late.
